Call for Proposals

Deadline extended to May 30th!

CIRPA-ACPRI invites you to submit a proposal to present at our upcoming conference, Cross-Canada IRP, October 21-23, 2025.  This conference is fully virtual with presentations, interactive activities, and networking events using CIRPA’s online platform.

Submissions are especially encouraged from groups who are not typically able to attend CIRPA’s in-person conferences:

  • New Presenters – If you have never presented at CIRPA before, this is the year to start! We provide mentorship and guidance. Whether you are new to IRP or just new to presenting at CIRPA, we want to make sure your voice is heard.
  • Across Canada – The virtual conference offers us the opportunity to transcend geography. We are looking for presenters who aren’t normally able to attend in-person conferences.
  • Presenters Outside IRP – This is an opportunity to reach out to our colleagues outside of the bounds of traditional Institutional Research and Planning offices. We are looking for presentations from researchers, colleagues at our institutions who use or report data. We welcome submissions, discussions and collaborations with other areas within an institution.
  • Get Creative – 2025 is an opportunity to try some different session formats, to include more interactivity and think of new ways to connect with our community. The program committee has exciting plans, but we also want to hear from you. If you have a unique type of session that you always wanted to do at CIRPA this is the year to make it happen!

 

 

We’re excited to announce the launch of new Speaker Orientation Sessions for our upcoming Conference Cross-Canada IRP! These sessions are designed to help our speakers feel confident, prepared, and fully supported as they get ready to take the CIRPA stage.

What to Expect:

  • Technical walkthroughs and platform demos.
  • Overview of the conference schedule and logistics.
  • Presentation tips and best practices.
  • Q&A with the CIRPA team.
  • Meet and greet with fellow presenters and session facilitators.

Session Dates:

All confirmed speakers are encouraged to attend at least one session to ensure a smooth and successful experience.
