About CIRPA

The Canadian Institutional Research and Planning Association (CIRPA) is a national association designed to promote and advance the study and practice of institutional research and planning across Canada.  It has approximately 230 members from across the country working in post secondary education, government and industry.

CIRPA hosts an annual conference where institutional research professionals come together to learn best practices, exchange information and ideas, and network with colleagues. The conference consists of a range of workshops, panel discussions and presentations on various topics affecting institutional research in Canada.

One of the association’s fundamental assets is its collegial nature. To build on this, the 2016-2021 Strategic Plan focuses on member engagement.  Our vision is that CIRPA-ACPRI will be a collegial community of institutional research and planning professionals with a broad, engaged national membership readily sharing knowledge and expertise.
