The theme for CIRPA-ACPRI 2020 is: “Sea to Sky: the Expansive Landscape of Institutional Research & Planning”

To say that the work of Institutional Research & Planning professionals is varied is an understatement. The types of activities we engage in as a profession have grown over time and continue to evolve according to our individual institutional contexts.  New tools, methods, approaches, skills and partnerships are needed to succeed. This year’s conference theme acknowledges and celebrates the diversity of work, partnerships and contexts in which we work and the evolution of our profession.

CIRPA-ACPRI welcomes all submissions relevant to the profession of Institutional Research and Planning (IRP), including proposals from professionals in the field of IRP. This includes colleagues at provincial, regional and federal agencies, other associations and organizations, as well as individual scholars with research interests in post-secondary education issues.

Click here for the submission guidelines and review criteria (click here for the French version). Please complete all proposals using the proposal template (click here for the English version and here for the French version).

Submissions are encouraged to align with conference theme and one or more of the following topic areas and should include realized or potential outcomes (i.e. how research has affected or will affect change?):

  • IR Operations
  • Research methods
  • Tools & Technology
  • Leadership, Partnerships and Planning

The deadline to submit a proposal(s) is June 15, 2020. Submit your proposal(s) via email to the Programming Committee (conference@cirpa-acpri.ca).

We hope to “see” you at the first CIRPA-ACPRI virtual conference this October!
