2016 - Kelowna

Old Vines and New Shoots:
Growing the Future of Institutional Research and Planning Together

Dear Colleagues,

CIRPA is very excited to announce that in 2016 we will be hosting a joint conference with the Pacific Northwest Association for Institutional Research and Planning (PNAIRP) to be held on November 6th to 8th in beautiful Kelowna, British Columbia

CIRPA/PNAIRP 2016 will be held at the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort and Conference Centre ideally located on the shores of majestic Okanagan Lake.  This destination resort and conference centre was recently ranked among the Top Waterfront Hotels in Canada, nestled in the heart of Canada’s wine country.  Due to the convenient downtown location, many great entertainment activities and some of Kelowna’s best local historic attractions and sightseeing hotspots are right outside our front door. The Kelowna Art Gallery, the Kasugai Gardens, the BC Orchard Industry Museum, the BC Wine Museum, the Okanagan Heritage and Military Museums, and local wineries are some of the attractions nearby.

With the team work of the University of British Columbia Okanagan and Okanagan College, we are excited to welcome you to our city and lakeside paradise. Our committee’s commitment is to work hard to give you another outstanding conference.

Come join us where institutional research professionals, government and industry representatives from across Canada and the Pacific Northwest will come together to learn best practices, exchange information and ideas, and network with colleagues.

Check back often as we will be adding more information on the Kelowna 2016 Conference. A great way to share your ideas and get the conversation rolling is through the CIRPA LinkedIn group. If you have not yet joined, please consider doing so.

See you in Kelowna!
