IR offices frequently use surveys to support their organization. While survey research projects can be time-consuming and costly, asking better questions and being aware of biases, questions to avoid and best practices can help organizations improve. Using student engagement surveys as examples, we will discuss effective approaches for survey design and help people derive more value from survey projects and help their organizations succeed. This workshop will examine survey methods, would provide attendees with hands-on exercises and opportunity to discuss and share from our collective experiences. The workshop is intended for variety of audiences, both experienced as well as new to surveys.
